Call Voters for Anita Prizio

On November 7th, the residents of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, will be going to the polls to choose their next County Council, and Our Revolution is getting out the vote for Anita Prizio.

Anita Prizio has long served as a leader in her community, serving for eight years on the local council, fighting for local children as a court-appointed advocate, and acting as treasurer for the Healthcare for All Pennsylvania campaign.

Anita Prizio will work to ensure that public funds go toward building affordable housing, not luxury developments. She will work to ensure transparency, especially around issues of public health - looking after the quality of the water, and working to make information about where fracking occurs and what chemicals are used available to the public. She will work to counter the opioid epidemic by increasing the involvement of medical and mental health professionals with law enforcement, and by finding ways to reduce over-prescription.
